I don't recall the exact details from the radio news report, but this is pretty much how it went down.

A Marine in Afghanistan got a letter from what was supposed to be his girlfriend back home.

"Dear Ricky,

This isn't working out. Please return the photo I sent you.

Sincerely,
Betty"

Ricky's reply included 57 babe pics wearing varying amounts of clothing and this reply.

"Dear Betty,

I can't remember which one is you. Please take yours out of the pile and return the rest.

Ricky"
